  : The location was great! The staff that greeted us was great. The breakfast provided was amazing!
  : The staff that greeted us when we left was, well, not very friendly.When we came we told the staff we had a car. He told us where to park but did not give us any for the car. We got a nasty letter when we left that was on the car.The bed needed looking at.

  : Amazing location and beautiful views if your room is on the side facing the mountains.
  : I stayed here about six years ago. Beautiful flags of Bavaria hung off the front of the hotel, the hotel was bright and well decorated, reminiscent of what a very nice hotel would have looked like in the early 20th century. Now, the flags are gone except for dry rotted tethering, the hotel is no longer decorated with the same Bavarian decor and nothing inspires uniqueness. I realize it is summer, and they do not have A/C, but the hotel room was very hot. A fan in the room would have been nice. We opened the doors to the balcony to try to let cooler night air in but noise from the street below, especially from cars, caused us to close the doors again. Room cleaning was lacking. We returned to the room with empty water bottles still sitting around, trash not emptied and no toilet paper restocking. We had to go down to the front desk to get more.

  : Great location! Staff was friendly and gave us a 2 room suite so the kids could stay on a living room couch. They made up the beds and allowed us to check in early!
  : Street noise on the front side of the hotel. Car parking down the street was less than pleasant in the rain.

  : The rooms were simple but clean and well-kept. Everything worked fine. The location is excellent - just metres from the centre of Berchtesgaden and, although on the main road, the accommodation (at least the rooms at the back) were very quiet.
  : Nothing. I expected (and paid for) a functional budget hotel and that's what I got.
