Set amidst stunning landscape at the foot of the Wendelstein Mountain in the heart of the Bavarian Alps this traditional family-run hotel offers quiet comfortable accommodation. Typically Bavarian in character and furnishings most rooms at the Gasthof Zur Post have their own balcony from which you can admire the magical mountain scenery.
Why not relax with a drink on the hotel terrace or in the beer garden after an active day of hiking or cycling in the countryside. A hearty delicious breakfast buffet with many organic products specialties is set out every morning in the restaurant with specialties from our own monastery butchery goat's cheese from our nearby monastery alp or farm cheese dairy egg dishes of course from chickens from our own organic farm.
In the evening the chef prepares dishes from neighboring regions as well as delicious Bavarian specialties.
