  : Spacious apartment, kitchen had everything we needed including olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Fairytale murals on the outside of the building and gardens made it feel special and in keeping with the Black Forest. Fancy fabrics and murals inside the apartment give it a unique and luxurious feel. Assigned parking space makes it convenient and no stress about taking the car. Appreciated the free washing machine which was right outside the garden apartment on the lowest level, the patio made it easy and fast to dry laundry on a sunny day with the rack provided.
  : The mattress in the bigger bedroom seemed worn out. I alerted the staff so I think this will be addressed. Just a note that the air conditioning is in the living room and master bedroom, the smaller bedroom does not have this. However, since we had the basement apartment which keeps cooler and it wasn't too hot outside, this wasn't an issue. Although I didn't get a chance to see the other apartments, I thought the one we stayed in with the garden patio was comfortable and stylish, and being able to walk right into the garden with our own outdoor dining table and sun lounger was a plus. We had a few spiders and other bugs, but nothing scary and convenient to capture them in a glass and relocate to the garden.

  : The view from the apartment balcony was beautiful. We saw fireflies in the evening, we were not bothered by mosquitoes. Our hosts were responsive to our request for a parasol to shield from the evening sun while on the balcony. There was access to a washing machine in the basement which was useful. The aircon in the dining room and south facing bedroom was very welcome. Parking was never a problem with an allocated space. I would recommend taking or hiring a car for access to the rest of the Black Forest. Local walks in the parkland and into Baden-Baden are delightful.

  : The apartment was really lovely - rooms were great and view from the balcony was out of this world. Loads of helpful touches - host have thought of everything you might need.
  : Its slightly further outside of town than wed usually choose and up a relatively steep hill but that does afford it some beautiful views. Not a big deal unless mobility is a problem but worth pointing out.
