: hosts are extremly friendly and we were treated in a part of the family manner. Our dog was equally happy. Thumps up

Disappointing

: The owner is was very friendly and plesant on arrival. The property is located very close to a number of walking trails, so it is a good location to be closer to nature.
: When I read the other reviews I thought the guesthouse sounded quirky and charming in a rustic and old fashioned way. The reality is a lot more disappointing. There is a lot of space in the living room but the musty smell from the sofa and questionable carpet tiles (?!!) meant we didn't even want to take our shoes off let alone use the area. The furnishings are so old that they triggered my asthma and because of this we decided to leave early. It is run by an elderly couple who could use some support but there are many things that need to be updated in this guesthouse before it should be listed. If you're looking for a place to sleep for a night then it will suffice. The property is definitely not an 8+ rating though.

: Such a lovely and friendly host at this place, lots of little touches to make our stay special such as fresh flowers in the room. Fantastic breakfast - excellent value for money and plenty of it that we could take some to make rolls for lunchtime. The decor is dated but our apartment was very spacious and comfortable with access to the lovely garden space where you could sit out. It is a very peaceful location and the beds were really comfy.
: Nothing it was great and if I was in Sommerberg again I would stay here.
