: I like the spacious rooms and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The kitchen has essential equipment to use for cooking although the knives were a bit old but sharp enough to cut. We cook a lot specially during breakfast and dinner. The house is nicely located up in the hill. I just can't help to notice the amount of trees that were cut in the surrounding area. The location is a bit remote if you take into consideration the extra 30 to 40 minutes travel time by car to get to the main attractions in Winterberg and Centerparcs.
: We booked the listed property here in Booking.com from 17-20 February. The property was not available and we were given apartments 3 and 4 as replacement. We have agreed because it was adjoining apartments eventhough it has only showers not like the house that we booked that has a bathtub. We get 3 bathrooms but if you use the shower simultaneously the water will not be warm enough. The bed that we sleep in is making a creaking noise everytime we move. We were required to give 200 cash deposit upon arrival and in the end we get charged by 32,50 for the food remains and streaks of water on the rinsed plates and glasses and also for the scratched pans with steel sponge. Which I think that the charges were questionable. Before we checked out we wipe the plates and the glasses dry with a towel after it's done by the dishwasher. There were residue in the nonstick pan after we use it for frying. The steel sponge was there in the kitchen. We thought it's alright to use it.
