  : The only member of staff I met was friendly and polite. He allowed me to store my bike in his locked ski room. The Labe (Elbe) runs alongside the hotel with a gentle babbling sound.
  : Arrived at 16:00, which was my planned and accepted check-in time. Hotel door open but no one on reception. Only bell I could find was on the outside door, and that seemed to just ring in the vacant reception. Couldn't find any member of staff till after 17:00 when the restaurant opened. The corridors are only illuminated once you move about, but the delay was too long. The light in the corridor by my room did not illuminate by movement, nor did it operate from a nearby switch. I didn't see any other guests, but there were 3 jogurts and 4 cooked eggs - suggesting a small number of other guests might be present. The other breakfast food on display would serve many more. Either there is a lot of food wastage or possibly it is on display on more than one day - food hygiene question. The fruit juice was very thin - had it been watered down? The bread roll was very under baked with the centre feeling like raw dough. The cut bread however was fine.IMHO the hotel would benefit by a visit from Alex Polizzi and her advice as the "Hotel Inspector".
