  : The receptionist was very friendly.
  : We did not meet a lot of staff, Friday evening sitting and waiting on the terrace for more than half an hour, looking for a waiter or anyone who could serve our table. Nobody came so we decided to leave and go to the town centre. Very expensive hotel where I would expect more than ham and cheese for breakfast. Not mentioning the woman who did not let us eat in silence because she felt like talking to us all the time. I do not even want to comment the fact that people had to pick up their cups for morning coffee themseves..Missing fridge with minibar in the room, no nets on windows so were biten by mosquitos all night long and AC not working.

  : It's a nice, clean, modern comfortable guest house. It does the trick if you want to stay in a clean place in Mikulov. But not and "special, authentic and rustic" place as the picture would suggest.
  : The hotel is not the idyllic, authentic and rustic-style guest house as you would expect looking at the pictures. In the pictures there are many images of the wine cellar and garden (with nice views) of the same owner, but these are not at the hotel! You need to arrange separately a visit to these. The garden apparently a few blocks away, the wine cellar a bit further away. The hotel itself has a totally modern white interior and is not very interesting in terms of design (as the pictures would suggest).

  : Nice service of the ladies working at breakfast
  : Strong musty smell upon entering the room. Room not ventilated. Loose toilet seat. Poor quality mattresses, very uncomfortable.Room very close to the reception. The door from the room does not stop sounds from outside in any way. As we were traveling with a small child, we asked about the possibility of changing the room to another one, unfortunately it was not possible to talk in English with the man at the reception as he did not even know basic English words. A hotel guest who knew English was our translator. The hotel owner was called in to fix the problem. Unfortunately, dealing with this gentleman was one of the worst experiences we've ever had on our travels. First, the man turned out to be under the influence of alcohol. He didn't let us get a word in, he even showed aggression. In a conversation with a woman, he used his physical advantage and tried to treat her from a position of strength. He raised his voice, downplayed the problem and therefore made fun of us for being in a hotel for the first time. At our request to talk to someone sober, he said that everyone in this town is drunk. The problem has not been resolved.

  : The staff were friendly. The room was spacious. Free parking and Netflix.
  : There is nothing "boutique" about this place. It is adequate for a night's stay. Our room, which was right opposite the reception on the ground floor, looked onto the road. The bathroom had a bad blocked drain smell, and the tiny shower cubicle was none too clean. No drinking water in the room or a mini fridge. The breakfast was just okay (though the lady serving was really lovely). Don't believe the lovely pictures of vineyards. Overall, not good value for money.
