  : The location of the property is fantastic - a couple of minutes walk to the main square, shops and restaurants outside, and free parking beneath the window (or near enough). The bedrooms are absolutely huge! Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is fully equipped, but I do agree, as other guests have suggested, that some basics for those only spending one or two nights would be a good idea (sugar, salt, oil, etc), although I do understand that some guests would 'turn' their nose up at "left-overs". I want to add, and it's here as it's not a complaint at all, that we had a problem with the hot water in the evening (we were only there for one night) as it wasn't hot enough to have a bath. We mentioned this to the hosts the next morning and they promised to look into it - it was a new boiler (this was obvious) and maybe things needed to be tweaked, although the water was hot in the morning for showers in the shower unit. Maybe it was an issue with pressure? As mentioned, the bedrooms were huge, and we really liked that they had made 2 decent bedrooms rather than one 'bed' being a sofa-bed. That being said, and I know it's an old building so regulations might apply, if it was possible to change the layout of the bedroom next to the kitchen, there could still be a good sized bedroom and a slightly larger kitchen that could include a sofa/small living room - only an idea.
  : I wouldn't hesitate to return to the property. Any "issues" we have are only suggestions and certainly not criticisms: maybe some blackout curtains in the bedrooms; a curtain (or something similar) over the glass panels in the door between the kitchen and bedroom to keep out the light; some padded cushions for the dining table seats (it's the only source of communal seating unless you sit in the main bedroom where there's a sofa and the TV - OK for a family, but not for all groups); a French press to make our own coffee. The owners have a lovely hotel nearby where the keys are collected - it would be nice to have the option of breakfast included in the price.
