  : Breakfast was not included with the booking. Location was excellent, it could not have been better. Very close walk to the main lift terminal.
  : A kettle was provided with 2 cups. It would have been nice to have had a microwave. It was very nice that there was a refrigerator.

  : the location was great close to matterhorn glacier express, although due to conditions and lifts that were open we bused to senegga on the 2 days skiiing. It was clean, and have everything we needed. The hotel Allain staff were friendly and helpful.
  : with skiing on check out date, moving bags to the Allain hotel added more faffing with ski boots before going for skiing, if there was a luggage store in the appartment building where skiers on check out date could leave their belongings and get them after skiing, this would be a great help. also some cutlery and pans to cook a simple dish with the cooker and oven, but maybe this would be provided for longer staying clients, we were 3 nights.

  : I liked the fact that I was in Zermatt and could see the Matterhorn and that the accommodation was close to the Matterhorn experience
  : what completely surprised and frustrated me that the studio 1 were I stayed had no wifi. If I wanted internet connection I had to get to the Alpine hotel in the city centre which was at least 20 min walk. As I usually explore the area and do walks and see the sights and do the internet stuff in the evening it was quite frustrating. secondly, the booking confirmation said chalet which turned out to be a studio in the hotel Alpenschloss: those type of accommodation indicate self catering facilities. The studio did have a fridge and induction plate. But there were no cooking utensils whatsoever and all that was provided was 1 glass, 1 cup and saucer and 1 teaspoon. Totally disappointed with the facility.

  : The bed was very comfortable. It was a quiet location and very close to the cable car up to Matterhorn. The room was a nice size. Instead of taking the elevator down and the main street to the city center, there is a small brick path to the left of the elevators that traverses through the residences on the hill which makes for a pleasant walk. Good pizza restaurant close by.
  : Having to walk to a different location to collect and drop off the room key wasn't mentioned until check in details were emailed. For very tired backpacking travelers this was a real inconvenience. A lockbox could easily be utilized next to the elevators like most other detached room type rentals. For the price, hand soap would have been nice and is usually assumed even though not listed (unless you are at a hostel). Everything else was as expected from listing details.

  : The location is alright and it was clean. In the booking, it was clear that the check in had to be done in a hotel halfway between the station and the accommodation. The staff there was very nice and took time to explain to us the activities in the area. We could keep our luggage there on the last day.
