  : Despite its central location and proximity to key urban attractions, the hotel falls unfortunately short in service and guest satisfaction.
  : The hotel itself is basic in terms of infrastructure, which might have been acceptable if not for the severe issues with their staff's responsiveness and professionalism.The most significant problem arose when a refund was needed due to a train cancellation. Despite waiting for 1.5 months and making multiple attempts to contact the hotel, both directly and through Booking.com, the request was met with complete silence. The staff showed a lack of courtesy and understanding, failing to even acknowledge my situation.Their consistent avoidance of communication was not only frustrating but also unprofessional from my viewpoint. Hotel Elite's suboptimal ability to address customer concerns appropriately is a major drawback in my eyes, and potential guests should be aware of these issues before making a booking decision.

  : The breakfast was the highlight. The personal were friendly and asked me personally what to drink. The variety of the food served were more than what I need. The place is near to the old city, but also to the central station. When you need a room only to sleep, this place is right for you. In the room you have one bed, one desk and one chair. Also there is a small washbasin and a place to hang your jacket. But the room serves nothing more than functionality.
  : The reality that only 1 shower room for all 3 floors in the hotel was not really pleasant. I am lucky that there were only few guests on my first 2 days. On the last day of my stay, there were a lot of guests so I decided to wake up early to avoid queuing for the bathroom. The hotel is not accessible for wheelchair. Eventhough it has lift for the 2nd to 4th floor, you have to take the stairs from the 1st to 2nd floor.

  : Unmanned automated reception caused problems at check in. More en suite options would be good

  : it was really nice. clean, nice breakfast, the lady on the phone was very polite and helpful. it's located in the centre of the city and this was a huge bonus. the room is very little but very clean, bed was comfortable so overall i will come back here next time in st gallen!
