  : Convenient location very close to station; quiet on side away from station; several cafes and restaurants witin a minute or two's walk, as well as station ones (essential as hotel breakfast room currently closed) - would recommend "Sleepy Bear" cofffee shop (though limited seating and busy at breakfast time) and Cafe Restaurant de l'Europe (reasonable prices for fixed menus - obviously popular with locals) . Was also given free bus/metro pass for 2-day duration of my stay
  : Reasonable price, though Lausanne is generally expensive. Rooms (especially bathrooms) rather small, though I was generously given a free upgrade as I had a lot of luggage (and check-in clerk noticed it was my birthday!). Check-in desk was unmanned on my arrival, but he turned up within 10 mins after calling on lobby phone (apparently he is also responsible for a second hotel nearby)

  : The staff is very nice. Position is great if you need to stay close to the train station.
  : Room too small. Bathroom even smaller. I could hear all night the fans from the other bathrooms, even smell of smoke. No reception service after 8pm till 9am. Breakfast is not available.

  : The hotel is very close to the train station. The staff is nice and even though they don't have 24h reception, they have a good protocol for late arrivals.
  : The room was clean but needed a big renovation.
