  : Did not appreciate at all the hotel did not have ac. It was awful. The room was small and stuffy and not attached to the hotel. Construction going on. We had to pay $150 to upgrade to AC. Would not recommend in any capacity. The breakfast however was excellent

  : The location is in a nice area of Basel very close to the Rhein , with nice little Cafes and restaurant. ( A bit tricky to find) Only 10 min walk away to the city centre. The room itself was not very big, but high quality interiors, very comfortable bed, the bathroom was very spacious. The weather was extremely hot for beginning of September. We struggled a bit with the nights as we only had very warm down feather duvets without AC. Couldnt open the windows because of the outdoor noise of the bar on the ground floor and the main hotel on the opposite side of the narrow road. It was a shame that we only spotted the coffee and tea facilities outside the room on the corridor when we departed.
