  : It was very nice on the rooftop bar until weekend. During the weekend it is opened for people which are not guests, and all of them can walk free thru hotel, making noise like I am in disco club. My felt very unsafe in hotel because of drunk people going in front of our room from the bar to the exit.

  : Very central and walking distance from the train station. Modern, very clean, lovely bathroom amenities, comfy bed, generous minibar.
  : Unable to put up window shades which meant losing our privacy due to vis-a-vis. In a very lively street so weekend crowds can affect having a good nights sleep.

  : Beautiful and modern Hotel with very elegant interior design and facilities. The staff are on another level regarding friendliness as well as customer service and the rooms are spacious, including the beds. Theyre enormous and a joy to spread out in after a long day of exploring Basel.
  : The super central location unfortunately comes with the added detriment that it can be very loud until around 02:00 am during the weekend nights. We were given an upgrade to a junior suite on the first floor which we unfortunately had to move out of in the middle of the night because of the street noise and throbbing music. The reception staff handled the issue in the most graceful way possible, apologizing profusely and even accompanying us to another room on a different floor to make sure the noise levels there were acceptable. If you dont mind noisy environments, plan to join them before heading to bed or plan for a stay that does not include weekends, this is a highly recommended place to stay.

  : The hotel itself - and the staff - are great, Really liked the decor and feel of the place. Lovely roof terrace breakfast.
  : The hotel is INCREDIBLY noisy on weekends (Friday & Saturday night) due to the bars and clubs on the street below. The street is also packed with people when trying to get into the hotel. Even with earplugs, I had two terrible nights of sleep - so I would not recommend a weekend stay here,
