  : smaller spaces, but still used them very well. sliding bathroom door works well but sounds carry in / out of bathroom/shower. Not a big problem, just different. otherwise really impressed with the use of the spaces in the room as well as in the breakfast area

  : The Situ Hotel is conveniently located to everything in the heart of the town of Valenciennes. It was a comfortable stay and I would recommend anyone to stay at this quaint hotel for their visit. I would definitely return. Other people have commented about the noise of the trains, but honestly, that isn't really an issue even though the hotel is directly across from the train station. That guaranteed that I would not miss my train, so that was a plus for me. :)
  : After hours, guests have to ring a bell to be let back into the hotel. This feels a little intrusive, but I understand the reason for safety purposes. Also, they are VERY punctual with taking away the breakfast, so it's best to give yourself a little extra time or pick up something elsewhere if you miss it.

  : Everything during my stay was good. Good staff, nice room, small but suitable breakfast, nearby train station, nice view from window (room 32) and good level of cleanliness each day.

  : the aircondition works only in summer, despite the room having 25 degrees. and the aircondition needs a proper cleaning. smells moldy
