  : Staying here was the antithesis to a corporate hotel. It was quirky in a good way, a bit worn round the edges, but an authentic family home and garden. The front door was never locked, and the small village of Beausevigne Vieille very unspoilt and quiet. A car was essential for exploring the Ardennes. The charismatic patron was an excellent cook and the food delicious on both evenings we stayed, enabling us to stay in and eat. We had aperitifs in front of the log burner in the Den and a buffet breakfast to a background of opera.
  : Not much housekeeping in bedroom or bathroom. No ensuite facilities from our room, and the toilet was shared with another couple. Would have preferred our own loo! Wifi patchy, but we were in a very rural location. Scarcity of restaurants or cafes in the area,

  : We arrived at 18.30 h. There was nobody to welcome us. We searched the building to find someone. We did not succeed. We looked into the facilities and saw only a great mess. Nothing seemed to be awaiting guests! The restaurant was dark. The kitchen dark. The office a mess. After we looked around we realized that this was not what was promised on the website. When we took some information in the village, another B&B told us that Les Trois Voisins was out of order due tot problems with the authorities. So we took no further action and told Booking.com that we did leave. What we regret the most is that Les Trois Voisins did take the full amount (122,85!) : a shame!

  : The location itself was charming and full of character. The host made it exceptionally special. It felt more like staying with a family member or friend then like a B&B. The host is friendly, kind and entertaining but above all.... an AMAZING chef. His food will stay with me for years to come.
  : Not so much criticism as much as something to be aware of. Their are now facilities to cook for yourself so be aware that if you stay here, you are likely to use his restaurant. But trust me, you will anyway!
