Gasthof Hirschen Schwarzenberg

Built in 1757 in a traditional wooden style the Hirschen Hotel in Schwarzenberg in the Bregenz Forest offers an award-winning gourmet restaurant a sauna and free underground parking. Free WiFi is available throughout the building. Focusing on sustainability the hotel also features 2 charging stations for e-cars. Dornbirn is a 20-minute drive away. The Hirschen Schwarzenberg features individually furnished rooms in a rustic style with wooden furniture and floors either located in the main building or in the annex (30 metres away). They are located in the historic main building and in the quiet Wälderhaus annexe. All rooms include satellite TV and a bathroom with bathrobes slippers and a hairdryer.

The Gasthaus zum Fernweh restaurant offers a dinner menu dedicated to a certain country that changes every evening. Vegetarian options are available. The garden includes a sunbathing lawn a fountain and a herbal garden. Guests can enjoy the spa with 2 saunas and infrared cabin or linger in the library by the open fire. The Rothenbach mountain pasture is a part of the hotel and can be reached on hiking trails starting at the Hirschen. In winter the ski slopes end right at the doorstep. A ski bus stops in front of the hotel and takes guests to various ski areas.

Snow shoeing equipment and toboggans can be borrowed free of charge on site. During the Bregenz Festival the hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the stage. Before the transfer a 3-course gourmet dinner is available on request. From 1 May to 31 October the Bregenzerwald Card is included in the rate with a minimum stay of 3 nights. This card offers many free benefits and discounts including free use of local cable cars buses and trains.
