  : Krumpendorf is a nice place, close to Klagenfurt and next to the Woerthersee. Apartment Buerger is roughly 15 minutes walk from the lake, which is OK, and the apartment was OK too. We particularly enjoyed the balcony, which faced the lake, although there were simply too many buildings and trees to see a lot of the lake.
  : There are hidden costs: Booking.com shows one price, you book a non-refundable option, and then comes the surprise package: cleaning and local taxes extra! In our case, this led to a considerably higher price, i.e. roughly 25% more than the price given on booking.com, and that made the Buerger apartments non-competitive. You clearly get more for less money if you book private apartments through Airbnb.
