Gasthof Karlwirt

Surrounded by meadows forests and its own farm Gasthof Karlwirt offers a sauna an infrared cabin and rooms with a balcony and cable TV. The free ski bus stops outside. The restaurant serves traditional Salzburg cuisine made from products from the Karlwirt’s farm. The Fanningberg Großeck-Speiereck Katschberg and Obertauern ski areas can be reached with the ski bus.

A cross-country ski run leads right past the hotel and activities such as horse-drawn sleigh rides and ice-stock sports can be organised. The Karlwirt offers easy access to hiking and cycling trails and the local hiking bus stops right outside. Bicycles are provided for guests’ use free of charge while electric bicycles can be rented. Guests staying from 1 May to 31 October receive the Lungau Card.
