  : Everything was as described, there was construction going on but we were aware of it and honestly we were lucky not to have heard any noise coming from it even though the room and the balcony were directly facing it. The view from the terrace / restaurant area is beautiful, really breathtaking and the whole property is very nicely taken care of :) well for sure come back!
  : There were some small inconsistencies that were swiftly resolved by the team / reception, but the only thing I would have loved to have a bit more of was information about where to eat and how to get there. Especially since we traveled on a day when their restaurant was closed, we struggled with getting a good recommendation. It was also not clear to us that we had to pre-order from the small menu before our arrival if we wanted to dine in the hotel on days when the restaurant is closed. The missing thing was really just helping us with personal recommendations beyond the small Gamlitz booklet you get that explains the area :)

  : The location is phenomenal, the pool is fantastic, the old rooms in the main house are very pleasant although the furniture now looks like Novotel furniture not like the beautiful old fashioned rooms this hotel did have. The breakfast is good but not as sophisticated and extensive as the old establishment used to offer. The food is good, however the wine offer is extensively from the Kilgers own but also mostly sub-contracted wineries which we think taste like commercial wines (a matter of opinion and taste)
  : The hotel is under new ownership, Kilgers which enlarged the hotel by adding a large dining room which is functional but looks like a mass hotel dining room. They also added 4 new outbuildings with guest rooms which do not look nice externally (very modern and of course only a matter of opinion) but on the website look like having very nicely furnished rooms.

  : The location is great and the views from the hotel absolutely gorgeous. The pool and breakfast set up are amazing as well.
  : Upon arrival, we were handed the key to our room, were not even taken to the room, asked whether we needed help with luggage or given any information about breakfast, wifi etc. We also found out upon arrival that the restaurant and spa were closed for the days we were there. Overall we felt like we were bothering when asking questions to the receptionist. Also a few extra sunbeds by the pool would've been nice to avoid having to lie on the floor. Finally the cleaning could have been done a bit more thoroughly. I did find the place gorgeous and the setting incredible, however the service did not live up to a 4* hotel in my opinion.
