  : The un did not accept American Express card. They should have warned their guests about works in time.

  : The location was very central to everything. Hotel is small but that was ok. Staff were friendly. . Room was clean and compact. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was OK.
  : The fact that they were having the outside of the hotel painted in high season. Scaffolding plus screening up all around hotel including bedrooms. There is no view out of the window at all. It made bedroom dark and gloomy. Plus, painters were working 8.30 to 3pm each day. No notification from the hotel this was happening. No compensation was offered as we didn't get what we paid for.

  : Stayed here a number of times in the past year and it's always been my go-to in Utrecht. Staff are great, location is fab and the beds incredibly comfy! The room was lovely and spacious.
  : Unfortunately, this is the first time I've had write a slight negative which makes me sad. There was the most awful 'sewage' type smell in reception which travelled through the hotel floors (I was on the 2nd). Breakfast has always been such a treat, this time it wasn't great - everything seemed tired which such a shame as it's always been something I've look forward too. The hotel has been spotless but this time not so much. Finally, there's a shabbyness now which hasn't been present before eg. light bulbs not working in reception, marks on painted walls, tables in the breakfast room were wonky, glass/windows were marked and not clean looking.
